Com incursões pela xilogravura, escultura, óleo e outras formas de arte, como teatro, fotografia e música (embora afirme que sua tendência pelo desenho seja predominante), Liane Sanchez começou a vincular-se às Artes Plásticas aos 12 anos de idade de forma bastante instintiva. Aos 17 anos, entrou para a Escola Panamericana de Arte que lhe serviu de trampolim para que a arte se solidificasse em sua vida. Data desta época a primeira exposição que precederam muitas outras. Atualmente trabalha também com arte digital.

Having experimented with woodcutting, sculpture, oil painting and other art forms, such as theater, photography and music (although she prefers is drawing), Liane Sanchez began to reveal her love for art quite instinctively, as a 12 year old girl. At the age of 17 she joined Panamericana School of Art, which served as a stepping stone to broaden art perspectives in her life. Her first exhibition, followed by many others, was held during this period. Currently works also with digital art.
Sobre seu processo de criação:
“Trabalho basicamente com a figura humana e sua riqueza interior. Através de poucas linhas, procuro passar um sentimento, uma emoção...o que me atrai é o ser humano e suas nuanças, os pontos chaves que o ligam à perfeição. Procuro sempre observar tudo, em qualquer lugar.
Tenho impressões de certas pessoas ou momentos que ficam gravados na memória, e quando chega o momento de olhar o papel, vejo o desenho pronto.
Cada um tem um tom de papel especial...a sensação da cor tem que estar em harmonia com a imagem gravada na memória. E por isso, há um momento exato de transferir a idéia para o plano real. Então, a obra se completa.”
About her creative process:
"I work primarily with the human figure and its inner wealth. Through a few lines, I try to transmit a feeling, an emotion ... what attracts me is the human being and its nuances, the key points that bind you to perfection. I try to observe everything, everywhere I go.
I keep impressions of certain people or moments that get stored in my memory, and when the time comes to look at the sheet of paper, I can envision the finished drawing.
Each sheet has a special color... The feeling that the color gives me must be in harmony with the image that's imprinted in my mind. And so, there is an exact moment to physically draw said image. That is when the artwork is complete."
